Truthfully, the 3/8" A572 is the only way to go for these tables, if one is fitting or welding any structural steel. The optional grid-square scribe lines in particular are a fantastic touch, and are deep enough to stand up to material being dragged across the surface. Overall, these tables earn their value as soon as they are assembled, and there's work we'd never have bid prior to owning these (now four of them).

Excellent quality table and very FLAT. I also got the starter accessory pack, which is packed with great stuff for getting up and running. Shipping was also excellent. The table was well protected and on a pallet that is built like a tank. Communication with Texas Metal Works was also great. This is a great product and excellent value! Highly Recommend.

I received the sidewall addition for the my table and installed it over the weekend. Wow! What a nice addition that is to the table. It is really well made and very stout. I might be adding one to the other side in the near future.

I am a small engineering/design shop, moving into more fabrication of certain jobs. I did research on several weld tables, and actually had the chance to see several big name table at trade shows. When it came time to purchase I spoke to several companies from big to small. It seemed that most sales reps would look at the order which was at least $7500 plus depending on manufacture and then they would try to upsell more products without really answering my questions with items I had specified. When I reached out to Texas Metal Works, I spoke to John the owner about my order. He was very helpful in explaining some things and recommended I change my order to smaller size until I have better idea of project scope. We also discussed the modular features of the table with being able to add on attachments to increase size without needing a large table right away. John recommended some items I had specificized may not be utilized as much as others and showed me where i can save money. You rarely meet someone that will save you money vs trying to squeeze a little more from you. The ordering and follow up was excellent with all involved. Once table arrived I was more than please with the purchase. I feel i have bought a really well designed and fabricated table. I wouldn't hesitate to order again or recommend to someone for a welding needs. Keep up what you guys do!!
