Are Texas Metal Works tables made in the USA?
Yes. Every Texas Metal Works fabrication table is laser cut, press-brake formed, welded, and finished in Conroe, Texas, using steel milled in the United States and North America. No imported tops, no offshore subassemblies. The certified fabricators who build each table work in the same facility as the sales and support team.
What steel are Texas Metal Works tables made from?
Texas Metal Works tables are built from ASTM A572 Grade 50 structural steel, a high-strength, low-alloy steel with a minimum yield strength of 50,000 psi. TMW publishes its material specification because buyers have a right to know exactly what they're welding on. Most competitors do not disclose the alloy used in their table tops. ASTM A572 Grade 50 offers an ideal blend of strength, toughness and durability specifically suited to welding tables.
Who makes stainless steel welding tables?
Texas Metal Works manufactures the only stainless steel line of fabrication tables immediately available in the US market. Stainless tables are purpose-built for contamination-sensitive work including food-grade, pharmaceutical, aerospace, and high-purity welding applications where carbon steel surfaces are unacceptable.
