Our tops are all cut from A572-50, and the thickness in no way affects load bearing. What it helps with is impact absorption if people are going to be really rough on them and want to keep them from getting damaged.
We also have variable height leg inserts which can be added to give a height range of aprox 30″-40″. Those add $85/ ea.
Finally, as a standard these tables will come as bare (oiled) steel and can be painted on site or whatever. Or alternatively we can have them powdercoated by our partner who does all of our powder. They use a 4 stage process: sandblast, chemical clean, primer, powder. They do an amazing job. We have about 8 standard colors… red, yellow, blue, black, etc.

Expandability
One of the most important features of our workbenches is their ability to attach to one another, as well as accessories. Each table has laser cut holes throughout the tubular legs and cross bracing which utilize the same spacing as all of our welding and fabrication tables. This means that any of our welding table components can be bolted to the side of the workbench, as well as the workbenches being able to be combined into even larger variations.
For example, here are two of the heavy duty workbenches with a Mod Blox welding table section bolted in-between.

Those tables could also be bolted directly together.

And of course, they could accommodate any of our table extensions or accessories such as a vise mount, or fab squares.
