FAQ

Common Questions

How much does custom metal fabrication cost?

Pricing depends on material, thickness, complexity, quantity, and finish. Simple cut parts can start under $100. Complex weldments and assemblies range from a few hundred to several thousand dollars. We provide detailed line-item quotes so you know exactly what you are paying for. No minimums on most work.

What materials do you work with?

We fabricate carbon steel (A36, A572, AR400), stainless steel (304, 316), and aluminum. We handle everything from 16-gauge sheet up to 6" thick plate. If you need a specific grade or alloy, let us know and we will source it.

What file formats do you accept?

We work with DXF, DWG, STEP, IGES, SolidWorks native files, and PDF drawings. If all you have is a sketch or an existing part, we can reverse-engineer it and create production files.

How long does a typical project take?

Standard lead times run 2 to 4 weeks depending on complexity and current shop load. Simple cut parts can ship in under a week. Rush work is available. We will give you a firm timeline with your quote.

Do you handle one-off parts or just production runs?

Both. We do single prototypes, short runs, and ongoing production. There is no minimum order. Whether you need one bracket or a thousand, the process is the same.

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes. We crate and ship via LTL freight anywhere in the U.S. Local pickup is also available from our facility in Conroe, TX (just north of Houston).
