Rolling Services

Plate
Rolling

Cylindrical and conical rolling of steel plate for tanks, vessels, hoppers, chutes, ductwork, and structural applications. Carbon steel, stainless, and aluminum. Rolled, welded, and finished as a complete assembly or as individual shells.

Rolling Capabilities

Cylinders, Cones, and Curved Sections

Cylindrical Rolling

Full cylinders and partial shells from plate. Tanks, pipes, sleeves, and drum bodies in any diameter and length within our machine capacity.

Conical Rolling

Tapered cones for hoppers, transitions, and reducers. Developed from flat plate and rolled to your specified taper angle and diameters.

Curved Plate Sections

Partial radius curves for architectural features, bumper guards, tank saddles, and curved structural members.

Roll and Weld Assemblies

We roll the shell, weld the longitudinal seam, and add flanges, nozzles, legs, or other attachments as a complete assembly.

Ductwork and Chutes

Round and rectangular ductwork, chutes, and transitions for material handling, HVAC, and industrial ventilation systems.

Multiple Materials

Carbon steel, stainless steel (304, 316), and aluminum plate. Proper tooling and techniques for each material to prevent contamination and surface damage.

FAQ

Common Questions

What is the thickest plate you can roll?

Capacity depends on plate width and material. Contact us with your specific diameter, thickness, and material for confirmation.

Can you roll and weld as a package?

Yes. Most rolled parts need a longitudinal seam weld. We roll, weld, and add flanges, nozzles, or legs as a complete assembly. One vendor for the whole job.

Can you roll cones and tapered shapes?

Yes. We roll conical sections for hoppers, transitions, and reducers. Provide the large and small diameters plus the height and we will develop the flat pattern and roll it.

Do you do partial rolls (curved sections)?

Yes. Not everything needs to be a full cylinder. We roll partial curves for saddles, guards, architectural features, and curved structural members.
