Metal Bending
& Forming
Press brake forming, rolling, and shaping of plate and structural sections. From simple 90-degree bends to complex multi-bend parts with tight tolerances. Carbon steel, stainless, and aluminum.
Forming Capabilities
Press Brake Forming and Beyond
We form sheet, plate, and structural sections into the shapes your project requires. Combined with our cutting and welding capabilities, forming is often part of a larger fabrication package.
Press Brake Forming
CNC press brake forming on sheet and plate. Single bends, multi-bend parts, channels, angles, and complex profiles with programmed backstops for repeatability.
Plate Rolling
Cylindrical and conical rolling of plate for tanks, hoppers, chutes, and ductwork. See our dedicated plate rolling service for details.
Angle and Channel Forming
Bending structural angle, channel, and tube to radius. Curved handrails, arched frames, and rolled structural shapes.
Hem and Seam Forming
Edge hems, standing seams, and return bends for finished edges on enclosures, panels, and guards.
Tight Tolerances
CNC backstops and angle measurement hold tolerances of +/- 0.5 degrees on bend angle and +/- 0.015" on bend location.
Cut and Bend Packages
Most forming jobs need parts cut first. We plasma cut, then form as a package. One vendor, one setup, fewer handling steps.

Part of a Bigger Job?
Most forming work is part of a larger fabrication project. We cut, form, weld, and coat as a complete package. Sending formed parts to a separate welder adds handling, transit, and coordination. We eliminate all of that.

FAQ
Common Questions
What is the thickest material you can bend?
Our 250-ton press brake forms mild steel up to 1" thick and stainless up to 3/4" thick, depending on bend length. For thicker plate, we can discuss alternatives like rolling or welded assemblies.
What is the longest bend you can make?
Up to 12 feet in a single setup. For longer parts, we can break the bend into segments or use alternative forming methods.
Can you form stainless steel without marking it?
Yes. We use film-protected material and appropriate die sets to minimize marking on stainless and aluminum parts where surface finish matters.
Do you cut and bend as a package?
Yes. Most forming jobs start with plasma-cut blanks. We cut and form as a single package, which reduces handling, improves accuracy, and saves you the coordination of dealing with two vendors.
