Modular Tool Storage System

ModPro is our steel panel-based storage and organization system built specifically for welding tables and shop walls. It’s made from 16-gauge laser-cut steel, powder coated textured black, and designed to hold real tools in a real shop.

The system has two mounting options: table panels that bolt between your welding table legs, and wall panels that mount to any wall. Both use the same accessories (hooks, bins, tool holders, shelves), so everything is interchangeable. You set up your panels, then mix and match accessories to organize your workspace exactly how you want it. When your workflow changes, just move things around.

A basic table panel setup (one panel plus a handful of hooks and bins) runs about $100-$150. A wall panel station with a 60″ kit and a solid accessory loadout is around $500-$700. A full shop buildout with multiple wall runs and table panels can range from $1,000 to $3,000+, depending on how much wall space you’re covering.

Compared to premium pegboard systems or shadow board setups, ModPro costs more upfront. But the 16-gauge steel construction means you’re not replacing it in two years when the pressboard rots or the thin metal warps. It’s a one-time investment in organization that actually lasts.

They ship in textured black, which is our standard powder coat finish. If you need a different color for your facility (safety yellow for OSHA visibility, for example), we can discuss custom powder coating for larger orders. For one-offs, the panels take paint well if you want to customize them on-site. Just scuff the surface, prime, and spray. The steel quality underneath is the same either way.

We make table panels sized for the narrow side of every welding table we sell: 30″, 40″, 50″, 60″, and 70″ widths, priced from $69 to $109. They bolt between the legs of your welding table using the existing laser-cut holes, no drilling or modification needed.

Once mounted, the panel sits right at your workspace where you can grab tools without turning around. Most customers put clamps, a few bins for consumables, and hooks for grinders or hammers. It’s the fastest way to organize a welding station.

Table panels work with our Gen 2 and later welding tables, which includes every table we’ve built in recent years. If you have one of our current-production tables, the panels bolt right in. The wall panels mount to any wall with standard hardware, so they work regardless of what table you have.

All of our ModPro accessories are also compatible with the slot pattern on our Gen 2+ table legs and cross braces directly, so you can hang hooks and bins on the table itself even without adding a dedicated panel.

If you’ve ever had a pegboard wall, you know the problems: they’re flimsy, they warp, the hooks fall out, and the whole thing looks terrible after six months. Our ModPro panels are 16-gauge steel, which is double the thickness of cheap metal pegboard and vastly superior to pressboard or MDF.

ModPro panels don’t flex or warp when you load them up. They’re strong enough that the wall you mount them on will fail before the panel does. They’re also magnetic, so you can use magnetic organizers in addition to our hook and bin system. And because they’re powder coated textured black, they actually look good on a shop wall.

Wall panels come in seven kit lengths: 30″, 40″, 50″, 60″, 80″, 100″, and 120″. Prices range from $289 for the 30″ to $929 for the 120″. Each kit includes the panels and wall hangers, so everything you need to mount is in the box.

We also sell extension packs if you want to expand your wall later. The panels are infinitely expandable. Start with 40″ and add another 40″ next month. The hole pattern lines up and accessories span across panels without gaps.

Yes. Every ModPro accessory (hooks, bins, tool holders, grinder hangers, utility hooks) is 100% interchangeable across table panels and wall panels. Buy a set of hooks for your welding table panel, and they’ll fit your wall panels just as well. This means you can move your entire organization setup if you rearrange your shop, or share accessories between your table and wall stations.

Yes. Unlike wood, aluminum, or stainless steel panels, our powder coated steel panels are fully magnetic. You can use magnetic tool holders, magnetic trays, magnetic hooks, and anything else with a magnet right alongside our purpose-built hooks and bins. It gives you more flexibility for organizing than any peg-style system.

We make four hook sizes (3″, 5″, 6″, and 10″) in individual or multi-pack quantities, starting at $4.99 for a single 3″ hook up to $139.99 for a pack of 10″ hooks. All hooks are laser-cut from 3/16″ A36 HRPO steel.

For bins, we offer three sizes: 6″ ($20), 10″ ($28), and 16″ ($34). These are purpose-built for the ModPro slot pattern and snap in securely. We also have grinder hangers ($15) and utility hooks ($4) for lighter items. The whole point is that you mix and match to build the exact setup your workflow needs.
