40 x 80 weld table with ½ in thick top. I’ve had the table for about 2 weeks. Overall a terrific table, and I’m very satisfied, and plan on making more accessory purchases in the future. However, there were a few issues. The pallet it was attached to wasn’t put together very well. Half of the cross boards on one end had completely come up with nails and screws showing. I noted that each board end had 2 nails and 1 deck screw. Not a comforting thought to think that the bottom cross frame/base shelf of my table was taking much of the 1,200 lbs of weight against it as the forklift moved it at some point. The only way it got out of the freight truck and onto the lift was because the guy had a 78’’ extended fork pallet jack, that just caught the end board. But, everything was straight, level and all welds looked good, so no harm done, I guess. He brought it into my garage, which I appreciated. I also noticed that 3 of the bolts holding in the base shelf (on the damaged pallet side) didn’t have nuts or lock washers on them. Just the bolts resting in the holes. I bought the hardware from Home Depot and tightened everything up.
The table and accessories are top quality. Very nice. I just wish the table top didn’t have so many scratches and gouges as a new product. I know it wasn’t the freight company because the top covers I ordered were already installed and securely flat against the table. Most of the gouges were at one corner, going down about 12 inches, pretty much evenly spaced apart. I’m guessing it was from a clamp that was used to move the heavy ½ inch top around for placement. Probably slipped, then gouged when it caught again (just my guess). The gouges look like parallel machine teeth marks. Regardless, I’m sure I’ll do worse to the table as time goes on. I was just hoping for as perfect a table as possible for my first impression. I noticed that another reviewer also mentioned gouges in one of the corners.
Most of the stop pins I ordered (20) didn’t fit the 5/8 in table holes. I tried sanding the pin inserts with strips of 180 grit sandpaper, with only some success. The pins still only fit some of the holes. So, I ordered a 5/8 inch honing bit from Amazon. When I come across a pin that doesn’t fit, I just run the honing bit up and down in the hole a few times, wipe it down, and all good. But, I’m glad the pins and holes have tight tolerances. I don’t mind the extra work to get them to fit. The less movement, the better. But, they need to fit. Regardless, the stop pin accessories are first rate. Very nice.
I also got the 8” swivel casters (all four swivel). Perfect height for me too, including the table (I’m 6’2”). Also, I need four swivel casters to move around the tight spaces in my garage. It definitely helps. Only two of the standard 5” casters that come with the table, swivel. Wouldn’t work for me. Maybe four 5” standard casters should be an option? Another reviewer also mentioned that. The table shipped with the 5” and the optional 8”, which I installed. I can always switch them out later if I need to for any reason.
Like I said, I’m VERY satisfied with my table and accessories. It should easily last me my lifetime. Best reasonably priced table out on the market today and very well made. I literally looked at every table available on the internet (and Marketplace) before making my choice. The positive reviews sealed the deal. Communication was also very good. And, I got my table sooner than I expected. I have no regrets and in hindsight would buy the same table and options again if I had to do it all over again, knowing what I now know. It’s a terrific welding table. I should have purchased one years ago.

We ordered a 30” x 60” fully fabricated welding table with casters and an accessory kit. We called and spoke with John before ordering and his advice was very helpful. We added additional accessories that will definitely be utilized. He also referred us to an article on the Blog which provided useful tips on accessories. The table and kit arrived in perfect condition about a week after ordering. It was easy to set up and get it operational. We would highly recommend Texas Metal Works products.
