Made exclusively for our 30″ x 60″ welding table, this 10 ga base shelf has 22 precision CNC cut slots (6″ long) and four pre-drilled holes for mounting to the table’s cross braces. The shelf has two bends across the broadside that drop 2″ to strengthen the cart and base shelf. Drop the shelf onto the table’s 2″ tubular base and you’re ready to go. For added stability, use the four holes to screw the top to the cross braces or weld the base in place.

Extra storage area is always welcome. The ability to secure the equipment to the bench area is a major plus.
Good size, sturdy, makes a great place to store other welding table accessories such as table extensions. Instead of bolting it down with the provided fasteners, I personally chose to just lay the shelf down loose for easy removal, and it still stays in place. I keep two 30×10 table extensions and a 10×10 vise mount on mine, with room for a systainer on the end.
